About Us

We the members of Association of Consulting Civil Engineers Solapur , an association of qualified and registered civil engineers in Solapur city rendering our services to the Society, as Consulting Civil Engineers, in the field of Project planning, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management and Valuation. Our Association is working in the interest of Consulting Civil Engineers. We organize seminars, workshops, exhibitions and study tours, etc, to educate, update our fellow engineers. Our aim is to know the best, recent technical knowhow, new products, new ideas and also to expose these to the Civil Engineering fraternity.

Seminars :- After the Bhuj earthquake we have organized a two-day Seminar on ‘EARTHQUAKE RESISTING STRUCTURES’ and ‘IS 456:2000, PLAIN AND REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE CODE OF PRACTICE’ wherein about 300 Engineers have participated on 14th and 15th April 2001. During 28th and 29th September 2002 we have conducted a Seminar on ‘VALUATION OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTIES’, for that we had faculties from Center of Valuation studies, Institute of science and technology for advanced studies and research Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, wherein 200 delegates have participated. We have organized a workshop on 21st and 22nd August 2004 on ‘ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING’ wherein we desire to consider the subjects as aspects of planning, town planning, development of satellite township, climatology, principals of planning, space utilization, plumbing and sanitary installations and fittings, electrification, etc. Workshop on Design of RCC structures, analysis of structures with Earthquake forces, detailing of Structures as per IS:13920.

Lectures :- We have arranged lectures of eminent personalities from Civil Engineering Fraternity for the benefit of Waterproofing and durability of RCC Structures by Er. J.J.Shah. Behaviour of Foundations in Black Cotton Soil by Er. G.B. Choudhary. Lateral Thinking and Principals of Architectural Engineering by Er. Pramod Beri. Principals of planning, project management, site management. Meditations, yoga, health care, psychology.

Study Tours:- Mumbai-Pune Express Highway Construction. Hyderabad and Ramoji Film City Badami, Humpi, Hospet. Vijapur, Almatti dam, Kudalsangam. Parali Power Plant. Ajintha, Ellora caves, Aurangabad. Various Steel plants such as Rajuri, Pollad at Jalna and Mahalaxmi at Kolhapur. Various Cement plants such as Grasim Industries at Malkhed and Hotgi. ACC cement plant at Wadi. Besides the lectures for our members we have arranged lectures, workshops for our site supervisors, workers, workshop for labours for good construction practices, for individual house builders programs.

a) A Technical Session along with Solapur Municipal corporation Engineers Association at ‘Heritage’Gandhinagr, Solapur.
b) Blood donation Camp along with Lions Club of Solapur.
c) Re-Installation of Executive committee for the year 2010-2011.
d) Felicitation of children of our members, who have scored more than 75% marks in the previous academic year.
e) Felicitation of children of our member, who have Secured Govt.scholarships in the previous academic year.
f) Felicitation of children of our member, who have performed exceptionally well in sports, competitive examinations etc.

28 June 2010 Road & Drainage from City Engineer which is required for getting the Building permission.The S.M.C.procedure for the same will be discussed with the officers from city Engineering Dept.
